Click “I don’t want my item” in the email letting you know your item was found. On the page that opens, click “Decline item.” Got a text instead? Open the link and follow the same steps.
This lets the hotel (or the location where you left your item) know you don’t want it back and stops any reminders.
No email or text yet? Your item may not have been found. To stop the search, click “Cancel report” in the email you received when you submitted your lost item report.
